Kay Szydlowski - Kara Szydlowski

I have been a writer for as long as I can remember. I write a little bit of everything, but my nonfiction tends to center around film, literature, and music. I am devoted to independent culture, and have a soft spot for little known or emerging talent. When I am not singing these praises, I work on a teen fiction book about three girls who attend a highly prestigious arts school.

When my health allows, I am an English Literature major, with about a year to go toward my BA. I last attended the University of South Florida, and am in the middle of the application process once again. I hope to return to school in fall 2009.
